Being a part of this prestigious institution for nine years has been an enthralling experience. Learning and growing up in this school has taught each one of us valuable lessons, teachings that we will carry along with us throughout our lives.

Being the Head Girl of Don Bosco International School is something I will forever cherish. Never in my wildest dream had I imagined that I would one day wear this badge.

For me, the role of the Head Girl is not just a position, it is a role where one must be able to inspire, guide, motivate and encourage. As a leader, I know that I have to set an example for those around me. As I begin my journey, I look forward to the challenges and responsibilities that will come my way.

Looking back over the years, I have observed the various Head Girls. They all have left an impressive mark with their leadership skills. According to me, they have certainly set high standards. They have all been amazing role models to us.

Like them, I wish to be a source of inspiration, guidance and motivation to those around me.

I thank all my teachers, right from my first year at this school, for crafting me into the person I am today, for being the guiding pillars in my life, and helping me achieve goals, which were genuinely out of my limits. Without their support, I don’t think I would have been framing this message.

At the end of the day, it’s not the position that makes us leaders, it is the service mentality that defines a leader. All of us have our originality, our strengths and our weaknesses. Each of us has our distinguished characters and personalities. We all have to work together as a team.

Great leaders connect with both the head and the heart. I look forward to this adventure of chaos, friendship, leadership, responsibility and celebration, along with our current council members.

Serving as the Head Boy of Don Bosco International School has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my journey yet. It has given me not only the honor of representing my peers but also the privilege of working closely with teachers, mentors and fellow students to uphold the values our school stands for. Through this role I have learned that leadership is not about holding authority but about responsibility, the responsibility to listen, to serve and to inspire. Whether it was supporting school initiatives, encouraging teamwork or addressing challenges, every moment as Head Boy has taught me lessons in various forms, shaping me to be a more empathetic learner but also a resilient leader.

This experience has also strengthened my belief that growth comes through collaboration. By engaging with students from different grades and backgrounds, I have seen the importance of inclusivity and the impact of giving every voice a platform. These interactions have helped me evolve into a more understanding and confident leader, one who values both discipline and compassion.

In the future, my aspiration as Head Boy is to continue harnessing a sense of unity and belonging within our school community. I hope to encourage my peers to dream big, to support one another and to strive for excellence in all that they do. Ultimately, I want to leave behind a legacy built not only on achievement but also on kindness, teamwork and perseverance, qualities that truly define the spirit of Don Bosco International School.
