Malgudi Days, an unforgettable theatrical adventure from the PYP section of Grades 3 to 5, an eclectic mix of music, dance, and drama, was a captivating and heart-warming Annual Day performance that truly left us spellbound.
It transported us to the enchanting town of Malgudi, where ordinary lives are filled with extraordinary stories. Set against the backdrop of bustling streets, lush landscapes, and colourful characters, this adaptation brought to life the timeless tales penned by the legendary Indian author, R.K. Narayan.
The endearing performances were a result of hard work and dedication of the students, teachers and the team of directors.
In the words of the students “We have imbibed important life lessons along the way, sometimes stepping out of our comfort zones. Being a part of “The Malgudi Days” has taught us the power of collaboration, coordination, and mutual support in achieving a common goal. We have experienced firsthand how different talents and skills can come together to create something truly extraordinary. We have faced challenges, overcome obstacles, and learned to never give up, even when the going gets tough. The play has been a journey of self-discovery and personal growth and we are immensely proud of our achievements.”
